Tech events are generally organized in technical seminars, tech fairs and also technical contests or tech fests. Tech events are generally organized by renowned technical firms or even technical universities. Tech events,not only drags great engineers or scientists under one roof, but also it gives the students a platform to compete against the regional or country’s or worlds best students. Leading computer and technology brands like Microsoft,IBM,Intel,Facebook etc all conduct tech events during a certain period of time of the year.

Tech events can focus on a particular portion of the technology or it can conjure many different fields of technology under one roof. Tech events can focus upon different programing languages like C,C++, Java etc it can be done with different operating systems also like Linux,Windows,Solaris etc. there can be events on hacking and cracking as well. But the main attraction of tech events is Robotics.

Tech Events

Robotics competitions can be of two types, manual robots and autonomous robots. Manual robots are controlled by a person with a direction stick in hand. These robots are wired. Whereas the autonomous robots are programmable and they don’t involve human interaction while the time of functioning. Most premier colleges conduct tech fests where students mostly from engineering and science background of different colleges take part. Individual or group participation is allowed. The best part is the participants get gifts and prizes or even cash prizes if one makes it to the top 3.

Another attraction of tech fest event is the guest lectures and paper presentations. The paper presentations give the students and researchers to showcase what they have experimented upon. The guest lecture or seminar portion is the most informative part of all the tech events because eminent speakers give lectures upon upcoming technologies. The also give a live demonstration or presentation about their respective area of discussion.
