Should I wear Low-Cut Jean Skirts – The Evangelical View?
We need to purify and change our dresses. Let us not allow the teasingly and worldly dress fashion to be one of the gods in our lives- Genesis 35:2.
The jean skirts evangelical view provides a salvation to god’s children from the wretched, wrecked lives of sin. For this you and me, we not only have to change our heart’s desires but also our dress appearance. The Evangelical church being a Protestant Institution has a deep regard for the book of god, “The Bible,” as an autonomous scripture from god and all its teachings are deduced from the word of Jesus Christ himself.
As men and women we are seen by god for our piety and sincerity of our actions, not by technological advancements or the clothes we wear. In the Bible god tells the young women that, “The female lifestyle of clothing must not lure the beauty and cost of the garments, instead should draw attention for their modesty as women.”
God is the all-seeing and the all hearing. A Jean skirt evangelical opinion is that these should not be worn by young girls and married women when outside the vicinity of their houses, as God says in (Deuteronomy 22:5). This is precisely the advice given in Romans 12:1 that,” Jesus is whom we worship in the church and one needs to glorify God wherever you go, and not be abominable.”
A time has come in which modern and socialized people have started to become so blindly liberal. The media has controlled your psychological and mental thinking. Fashion trends, movie stars and even the people we consider influential and ideals promote nakedness. The trend has gone to such extreme heights that the ones who challenge it are just thought as not being accepting. Jean skirts evangelical understanding is that the girls who do cover their bodies and not wear low-cut jeans are thought of as odd.
