But somehow, she never could make it to the top league. However, things seem to have taken a better turn now, as she has been appearing in amazing movies one after the other.
She made her debut in television series ‘The Camomile Law’. But her big break came with her BAFTA winning performance of Elizabeth Bennet in BBC’s television adaptation of ‘Pride And Prejudice’ in 1995. After that, there has been no looking back for her. She starred in movies like ‘The Ides Of March’, Oscar winning movie ‘The Kings Speech’ and ‘The Adjustment Bureau’, back to back. And suddenly, she was back in form. Even last year horror flick ‘Contagion’, she held her ground in front of co stars like Kate Winslet and Gwyneth Paltrow.
