The home ground of Kolkata Knight Riders (Indian Premier League) team and the Bengal Cricket Team, situated in the heart of Kolkata in India famous in the world by name Eden Garden. It is a renowned cricket ground.Eden garden is the India’s biggest cricket stadium having capacity to hold 120,000 spectators at a time. Sine’s 1865 Later, the ground was renovated to its current capacity 90,000 spectators but still remains one of the biggest cricket stadiums across the world. Stadium gets another renovation process to reduce their seating capacity to 14,500 to meet the minimum qualifications criteria for the Cricket World Cup 2011.

In India, after the Salt Lake Football Stadium, the Eden Gardens is second large area stadium; the stadium also has the biggest ground area in the world.The first test match played on Eden garden in 1934 between India and England. The ground hosted their first ever one-day match in 1987 between India and Pakistan.In honor of Dr. B.C. Roy, the Chief Minister of the State of West Bengal the Club House of the stadium was named B.C. Roy. Eden Gardens having some memorable and highlighted events are Indian bowler, Kapil dev taking a One day International hat-trick in 1991 against Sri Lanka. Harbhajan Sing achieving the same for Test cricket matches in 2000-01 against Australia. The ground also hosted the memorable final of the World Cup 1987 where Australia beat England to claim the title.
