One common weed that many garden experts do not like to have in their gardens includes the duckweed (Lemna minor) which can affect your pond or reduce the growth of your plants but also another weed or duckweed that gardening experts like to have in their ponds is the Lemna trisculca because instead of producing pale lime-green carpets like Lemna minor, it produces many star shaped leaves that just float underneath the surface.

Another type of duckweed which is the Lemna polyrhiza also known as the Spirodela polyrhiza produces very large and rounder leaves than the normal kind. Planting has never been easy especially if you are new to the Wisley garden planting process. The minimum water depth of pond should be 15cm and the least minimum pound size should be 18 square feet. If you think there is so much stress involved in having this type of garden you can hire the services of an experienced gardener to see to all the processes and make sure your garden comes out perfectly just like you want it to be.
