Simply putting carpets can be defined as textile floor coverings that are made up of two parts. The first part or the upper layer is known as the pile and it is attached to the second part or backing. The upper part is commonly made out of wood or some manmade fiber. This manmade fiber can be polypropylene, polyester or it can be nylon. These fibers are in the form of twisted tufts that are sometimes treated with heat in order for them to maintain their structure.

Carpets can be of many kinds such as: woven, knotted, needle felt, tufted or flat-weaved or hooked rug. Carpets have been used by people all around the world since centuries. The designs and the embroideries done on the carpets are different from each other and they show the culture of countries they come from. People install carpets in their homes as they add to the décor of the house and also cover their simple looking floors. These carpets are made from soft materials that allow people to move around the floor with ease. But sometimes accidents might happen and carpets can thus, get spoiled.

Even a simple stain of juice can be hard to get out from a carpet and the said carpet is ruined. Vacuuming the surface of the carpet can be helpful but it still does not stop carpets from fading. A carpet laminate can help people save their carpets. A carpet laminate helps by applying a thin layer above the carpet. This thin layer acts as a protective covering over the carpet and thus carpets are not spoiled by any spills etc. A carpet laminate is a sure way through which people can save their expensive carpets by making them spill resistant, food stain resistant as well as making them baby proof.
