Immigrants have to assimilate a new culture by exploring it, and preserving their old traditions at the same time. However, if immigrants do not assimilate it, they will feel left out. Also, the assimilation can be extreme; in this case the country will have a lot of immigrants becoming citizens somehow. Even though, assimilation involves a gradual changes; it can be a full assimilation when immigrants are successful adapted in new culture and others struggle to become part of a new society.

It is important to immigrants to preserve their own traditions while they are adapting to a new culture. Immigrant speaking their own language is a way to preserve it. They should speak their own idiom talking at home or with family and exploring their ability to speak the new language in other places. This way, immigrants will be able to still keep their culture alive and maintain their native language. Whereas immigrants have their own group of people from the same culture and keep speaking their native language, there are some immigrants who try to learn and understand a new language instead of preserving it.

If it happens, they can feel isolated by the new society. In this case, they will avoid communicating with others duo to the struggles to understand the new language. As a result, people can give up adapting and going back to their native country. In the same way, there are people who even facing the struggles still remain in the country and are able to adapt into it. However, immigrants need time to overcome the difficulties of the adaptation. Therefore, if they really want to live in a new country, they have to understand and get used to a new culture.

One of the ways to assimilate a new culture is exploring it. For instance, some immigrants explore the culture by watching TV shows and movies in a new language. They know that it is difficult sometimes, but they make effort, study hard, look up words to find out the meaning. As a result, they overcome the difficulty and they are successful adapted into a new language. While people struggle to understand and explore new language and culture, some people just give up in the first difficulty. Those people might feel frustrated when they are watching TV shows in other idiom. Understanding the new language can be challenge and toward this difficulty they rather watch TV shows and movies in their own language, becoming almost impossible to get used to a new culture.
