Mammal Definition – Their Different Qualities
Mammal definition has been derived by many scientists. They are different from one another and live in different extreme climatic conditions. They live in very cold climates and also live in very hot climates. Different researches and studies have stated that their bones are different from other animals. The bones are directly connected to their skulls. They mostly have thick hair and these thick furs protect them from severe cold season.
The biggest mammal is blue whale and they live in the deep ocean. They have the weight of around 150 tones and are vegetarians. They have different feature which makes them different from other animals. The mammal definition is very different and their lifestyle is very different from other animals. They are milk producing and have certain glands which produce these milks. They are killed for their skin and flesh by the human being.
There are certain other glands which help them to live in very hot region with very little water consumption. Echidna lived around 150 million years ago and they are the egg laying mammal. They lived very long after the dinosaurs have left the earth. The termites were the main food of this echidna. They were comparatively small in size and were extremely adapted to the climatic conditions. They were killed by certain eagles and they were also killed by the human beings.
The forest fire has killed these mammals to a great extent. They cannot run very fast and hence they were killed in very large number. The cheetah is the fastest land animal which can travel very fast and the killer whale is the fastest in the ocean. Tortoise, sloth, and snail are the slowest land animals which are all small in the size. The thickest land animal is rhinoceros which has a very thick skin.
