Glenn Beck
There are many people who have come and gone throughout the history of American Television and Radio shows. But Glenn Beck is one of those rare few people who emerged as a stalwart when it comes to hosting any kind of show on air or on television. He is one of the most gifted programme hosts with author and political commentator, and a lot of other things. He was born on the 10th day of February in 1964 in the city of Washington. His life and upbringing was never really smooth. Especially, his adulthood was marred by quite a few unfortunate and horrible events. His mother died when he himself was just a young boy. Beck’s first marriage was not a success either. There were complaints from his wife’s side of Beck being abusive. He was found to be addicted towards drug and alcohol.
Amidst all these hindrances, the future, which had once looked quite wonderful for Beck, seemed quite bleak. The year was 1994, when some suicidal tendencies are also observed in Beck’s life. It was presumed or maybe rumoured that Beck imagined shooting himself with a pistol to a song of Kurt Cobain. The year 2000 brings some sort of sanity and happiness for Beck and also for his career too. That moment on, he gradually emerged as one of the most entertaining and apt host for radio shows. The show ‘The Glenn Beck Program’ was a tremendous success. It was first aired and broadcasted in the year 2000. In the city of Florida, the radio channel WFLA (AM) was the first one to broadcast Beck’s show. In the year 2006, Beck also announced to make a debut on television through a political talk-show kind of show on the channel CNN. His stint as a television host was successful too. Beck also won some award for that stint of his.
