Are you eager to know about Scott Bakula? Though Scott Bakula has not performed in huge numbers of television series and movies, he was noted for all his performances. His talent to act was observed in the TV series Quantum Leap, a science fiction which was telecasted on NBC from 1989 to 1993. In this series, he played the role of a scientist named Sam Beckett. The series is all about a scientist who leaps to life across time as a result of an error in his experiment. Although there were frequent changes in the schedule, the show was a real hit and had fan following in huge numbers. This series was really a great breakthrough in the career of Scott Bakula.

Though this actor is considered primarily as a television actor, he has also appeared in few feature films as well. The films include Lord of Illusions released in the year 1995, American Beauty opposite to Kevin Spacey in 1999 and in 2001 he played a character opposite to Kristin Scott Thomas in the movie Life as a House.  Apart from this, Scott Bakula has produced various TV shows as well. He did spread his hands in Broadway shows too. His Broadway shows include the short lived Marilyn in 1983 and the musical Romance during 1988- 89.

Later he returned to Television series in TV’s Enterprise. He played the role of Captain Jonathan Archer during the period 2001-05. Born on 9th of October in 1954 at St. Louis in Missouri, Scott Bakula made his dream to become an actor come true. Though few of his television series couldn’t get good response from the audience, the series ‘Quantum Leap’ was a real leap in his career. It is this series that made Scott Bakula famous among television audiences.
