Scott Bairstow is an American actor. He is famous because of his roles in the American drama series named ‘Lonesome Dove’ in Canada in which he played role of Newt call and ‘Ned Grayson’ in America. He played many very good roles in movies and television series which are still memorable for everyone. He was born on 23rd April 1970 inManitoba,Canada. His parents were classical musicians.
He was only ten years old when he first appeared on a television show named ‘Lets go’. After some years he shifted toNew York. There he got a chance to play in a soap opera.
The name of that show was All My Children. The name of his character was Stuart Chandler. He was only in flashback scenes. After that Scott Bairstow did a lead role in the television movie ‘There was a little Boy’ in 1993. Then he did a movie The Postman in which he worked opposite Kevin Costner. His other significant movie of that time is ‘Two forTexas’ in 1997 in which he worked with Kris Kristofferson. This was very big achievement for him as a new comer.
His other big hits were ‘Party of Five’, ‘X-files’ and Miracle Man made him a big name in film and television industry. There are some controversies involved in his personal life. In 2003 Scott Bairstow booked for second degree child rape. According to police he sexually assaulted 12 years old girl and asked her to keep quit about this. He was in jail for four months for this reason.
