Michaela Conlin: a Rare Achiever
Michaela Conlin is an American actress of Chinese descent. She was born to an Irish American father and a Chinese American mother. Despite being a non American by decent, she has been able to conquer a lot of fans in America. She was born in 1978.
She graduated from parkland high school and then joined New York University to do a B.F.A in theatre. She also studied in the International training program of Experimental Theatre Wing; Amsterdam.
She made her debut on television with ‘The It factor’, which was a documentary series. Then she moved to Los Angeles and got her first major acting break in the series MDs. It was a series based on professional and personal lives and problems of doctors.
Her next major role was in the series ‘The D.A’. It was a political drama in which she played the lead role of an outspoken consultant.
However her most memorable role is in a popular American drama series ‘Bones’, in which she plays ‘Angela’, best friend of the lead actress of the series Emily Deshanel . The two actresses are also best friends in real life.
But her film career has not been very great. She has done a few films like ‘Garmento’; ‘Open window’; ‘Love the Hard Way’. The only successful film in which she appeared was ‘Enchanted’, but in that too her role was trimmed.
Her recent appearance was in ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’.
So Michaela Conlin has managed to have a great career despite her decent.
