Mariah Carey is a famous and known American singer. She is also an actress, songwriter and record producer. She was born on 27th of March 1970in Long Island, New York. She was from a simple and middle class family. The name of her father is Alfred Roy Carey and name of her mother is Patricia Hickey. Her father was very fond of music and a good singer himself. He passed away when Mariah was younger. She inherited the interest of music of her father and dreamt to make career in singing by that time. She finished her studies from Greentown’s harbor field High school.

This was a milestone of her career and her life and she got all the way of success. This Album went multi platinum on the top four on U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. The tracks were ‘Vision if Love’, ‘Love Takes Time’, ‘Someday’ and ‘ I Don’t Wanna cry’. She got Grammy Award for best New Artist and also Best Female Vocalist. After the big success of this album she again released another album in 1993 “Music Box”. This was also hit like her last album. This went Platinum for ten times. She released a series of records in which ‘Emotions’, ‘Music Box’,'Merry Christmas’ are included. She was thenColumbia’s highest selling singer. ‘Day Dream’ and ‘one sweet day ‘ another big hits.
Mariah Carey sold almost more than 200 million records in the career of two decades. She was the one of top bestseller singer. She has been awarded by many prestigious awards. In 1990 she honored by ‘World Music Award’, in 2000 she was the best selling music artist female in United States. She won 5 Grammy awards.
