Christopher Connelly was a popular American actor born in Kansas on September 8, 1941. He is best known through the performance in ‘Peyton Place’. He has appeared in many movies and television series. In the long acting career of twenty-five years, he portrayed many memorable characters. His debut in mini-screen was through the series ‘The Alfred Hitchcock Hour’ in 1963. After that, he appeared in many series as a supporting character.

‘The fugitive’, ‘what a way to go’, ‘voyage to the bottom of sea’ etc were his major works in 1964. In that year, he performed in ‘Peyton Place’. He was a part of that long running series for five years, until the show was over. By playing one of the lead roles in that famous series, he became a renowned actor in television. After this series, he played a guest role in the film ‘Judd for the defense’ casted in 1968. Next year, he Connelly appeared in ‘Mod Squad’.

During 1970s, he had so many works in his credit. Most of them were notable guest roles. ‘Bonanza’, ‘the interns’, ‘Mission: Impossible’ were the series he appeared in 1970. Next year, his major works in television series were ‘Dan August’, ‘incident in San Francisco’, ‘police surgeon’ etc. From1972 to 1975, he performed in both series and movies. ‘They only kill their masters’ was a movie, which is credited to his account in 1972. ‘A touch of grace’, ‘Gunsmoke’, ‘Cannon’, ‘Benji’ were some other notable works in that period.

In 1974, he played an important role in the series ‘paper moon’. ‘Police Story’ was also a popular series, in which Christopher Connelly made memorable performance. At the beginning of 1980s, he had many works in movies and television soaps. ‘The Martian Chronicles’, ‘eight is enough’, ‘B.J. and the bear’ etc were his important series works. ‘Earthbound’, ‘Manhattan baby’, ‘Foxtrap’ etc were major Hollywood works. In 1988, Christopher died due to lung cancer.
