Allen Danziger: An Unforgettable Actor
Allen Danziger was an American actor born on July 23, 1942 in Boston, Massachusetts. He studied psychology in a college in Ney York called the City college. He graduated from college in the year 1964. Thereafter he joined University of Texas at Austin to study drama. He graduated from this college in the year 1970.
As an actor he Allen Danziger failed to get more opportunities in the film field. He was a talented and committed actor. He made his film debut in the year 1969 in a movie called the Eggshells. In the movie he acted as a lead character named Allen along with Pamela Craig and Ron Brnhart. The movie was an above average hit. It was sort of a fantasy and drama type movie. Just when people thought that they were going to see more of him again after his first movie he unexpectedly disappeared from the film field. It was as if he never existed.
But after a long break of five years he reemerged in the film field through the movie The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. It is still rated as one of the scariest movies off all time. Its impact that this movie created made him popular all of a sudden. In the movie he played a role called Jerry who travels with his friends Sally Hardesty and Franklin to visit the place where their grandfather is buried. Even though he gets killed in this movie his role was well a noted one. The irony was that after this movie he stopped acting. Again this was something unexpected from his side.
Allen Danziger after leaving the film field brought an entertainment company named “Three Ring Service”. This company was formulated to provide entertainment during parties and other such events.
