Even though right now you’re probably sitting snug and warm in a sweater and jeans, if you’re interested in keeping up on the latest in fashion trends, you’re already thinking about your wardrobe once the weather warms up. The spring of 2013 is full of great new trends. You’ll also be seeing the return of some tried and true favorites. Ladies, it might be a good idea to start doing those crunches now, as crop tops are going to be making a huge comeback this spring. Crop tops are just one of the many different nineties “throwback” styles you can expect to see in the stores as they bring in their spring inventory. These tops are fun because they pair well with jean shorts or the re-emerging Bermuda shorts, which are also making a comeback on the fashion scene.

In the “old days” wearing a corset used to be a fairly common practice, however, they were very uncomfortable. When women finally broke free of the painful tradition, most of them probably thought that wearing them as a fashion statement would never reappear again. This spring, you can expect to see corset tops everywhere, as women embrace their shapely figures and flaunt them with this new style. Sheer fabrics will also be prevalent in fashion. Combine the two, and the result will be beautiful styles that will work for a night out on the town, or a shopping trip at the mall.
Halter Tops
Halter tops have long been a big favorite among women, giving them a chance to show off their shapely shoulders while bringing a flattering effect to a flat stomach. Even so, there are some of these fashionable tops that are made specifically for plus size women. The key with pulling off this look to be sure your bra straps aren’t showing. Fortunately, designers have made bras with straps that can be hidden out of sight very well under them.
Before you know it, the chilly temperatures will be a memory and it will be time to plan for your new spring wardrobe. There are so many great trends to look forward to this year; it’s hard to know where to begin. The best way, of course, is to start with a shopping trip that gives you the opportunity to try on all different styles until you find the ones you just can’t face spring without.
