Airbrush Make-up
Airbrush makeup is the most modified form of make-up though it is being used for more than 75 years in the theatrical and film making purposes. In this type of make up air brush machines are used instead of sponges, brushes and other instruments which are used to do make-up. The main purpose for inventing this form of make up was to lower the burdens of the professional make up artists, who had to make up a hundred people during a short period of time for a stage show and a movie. This process also helped to work very systematically. In the year 1925, actors and actresses of a movie named ‘Ben Hur’ used theairbrush makeup system for the first time. The main instrument for this make-up is an airbrush. The most basic airbrush was made using hand compressor and other spare parts from a jewelery shoppe by Abner Peerler. He invented and patented his airbrush in the year of 1879. Aerograph Corporation from England is the most well known company for making airbrushes still day. The owner of this company Charles Burdick,who was the designer of the pen like airbrush which is planned and presented in the Worlds Colombian Exposition in Chicago by Thyer and chandler in the year 1893.
At the early stages airbrushes are made for artistic purposes that is spreading of water colors etc. now days they are used for multiple purposes such as make up, vehicle painting, electronic materials painting etc. in case of airbrush make-up pigments, raisins, solvents and additives are used as the basic formulation for doing a make-up. This kind of make-up usually stands for a long period of time. Airbrush make-up can be used in face and eyelids and also for making an effect of sunless tanning. Chromium Oxide Green, D&C Red, Barium Lake etc are the basic pigments which are used during these make-ups.
