Dacia Sandero one of the Most Affordable cars on the Market

Posted by rafael on December 7, 2012 in Cars

Dacia has unveiled one of the most affordable personal leasing solutions on the market with the new Sandero.

The Dacia Sandero has been labelled by the manufacturer as ‘the UK’s most affordable car’, and has also described it as “shockingly affordable.”

The supermini will be available for customers to lease from January 2013, with three trims available for people to choose from: Access, Ambiance and Lauréate. Two accessory packs will also be available.

People will also be able to choose between three engines, all of which are frugal and cost-effective. The new three-cylinder 0.9 TCe 90 petrol and 1.5 dCi 90 will also both be available with ECO mode.

Dacia is hoping that the affordable nature of a new Dacia Sandero lease will attract cost-conscious people wanting to lease a cost-effective car that’s affordable to maintain. Dacia insists that the last time the market saw such an offer was with the 1989 Ford Fiesta.

The entry-level Dacia Sandero has a great range of standard equipment, including 15” steel wheels, power assisted steering, a 60/40 split folding rear seat and daytime running lights.

Safety features available for the new Dacia Sandero will include ABS with Emergency Brake Assist, ASR traction control, Electronic Stability Control, driver, passenger and front side airbags and ISOFIX points.

The Sandero will be available in a number of colours, but one of its most stylish trims features a white body with black bumpers, door handles and mirrors.

Dacia insists that the Sandero will be the most affordable new car on the market when it’s released. Pre-orders are being taken from late October, and people interested in investing in higher trim levels can get access to 7-inch touchscreen MediaNav technology, leather upholstery and much more besides.

Dacia has also recently announced a new Sandero Stepway, which has been labelled as an affordable supermini crossover with its own personality. A second-gen Dacia is also in the works.

Inspired by a traditional SUV, the Sandero Stepway will hit the market from May 2013. The second-generation Sandero and Stepway will feature phenomenal amounts of equipment, including a seven-inch touchscreen  MediaNav system, cruise control and more.

Safety levels will also be increased, with the Stepway featuring front side airbags and ESC on all UK versions. The Stepway will be available with a 0.9-litre TCe 90 petrol engine, with the option to upgrade to a 1.5 dCi 90 diesel engine.
