Car Care for New Paint

Cars that are just from a paint job need special car care because if mishandled, the paint job may wear out or look rusty. This is especially important if one wants to go to the car wash to get their cars washed after a nice paint job. Paint should be allowed a certain period of time to cure. The paint on a car, how good it was done and how excellent it was maintained determines how nice it the car will eventually look.

One should wait at least two weeks after a paint job to get the car washed or waxed. Even after the two weeks it’s recommended that one only washes their cars weekly. During washing, one should use a cleaner who is PH balanced. They should wash their cars from top to bottom. The cleaner should be rinsed away after one has finished cleaning their cars. The car should then be thoroughly dried after the rinsing. Waxing should be done about two months or approximately sixty days after the paint job.

Waxing the car helps the paint to cure. It’s recommended to use a wax that has a rock-hard finish so that it seals the paint in. If one is afraid of washing their just painted cars, they can go to a petrol station that offers car cleaning and gets the work done by professionals who have the experience of washing such types of exterior. Good care of the car is just like fuel, though the fuel prices are raising one can’t help but buy because they need it.
