Since its first model in 1995, the 22, 482 units of the BMW 5 series E39 manufactured between then and 2003 saw the birth of a beautiful beast of the last model. This German sedan is 1.432metres high, stretches to 4.784metres and has a width of 1.8metres, and weighs just 1320 kilos.
It boasts of a strong and rigid body structure which is all steel. The exterior is completed by the 18 inch wheels of which the back ones are slightly larger than the front ones. This feature helps put more power on the road and helps with the lateral grip when accelerating outside corners.
The interior is heavenly with its fully stitched leather layout and power seats. Beneath the hood lies a highly tuned V8 engine that generates a horsepower of 400. It also comes with a six-speed manual transmission. The entertainment system is quite flexible where you can easily upgrade it with the newest BMW technologies.
This sport sedan can accelerate to a speed of 60km/h within a span of 5.8 seconds. Some users have claimed that it can do this in just five seconds given a good driver and good conditions. It has a top speed of 155km/h.
